Portfolio Program
Portfolio Program Description
Groundswell’s Portfolio Program provides intensive portfolio development for youth, 10th, 11th and 12th grades,
focused on preparing young people for art college admission and scholarship. Facilitated by Groundswell artists
and staff, the program is open only to youth who have participated, or are currently participating, in one of
Groundswell’s teen projects or programs.
For acceptance into art colleges and universities, you need to present a portfolio, a collection of artwork organized
to demonstrate your drawing skills, personal artistic exploration, and your creative potential. The program will help
you prepare your portfolio and applications for admission to art colleges around the nation.
The Portfolio Program meets once a week, Mondays, 4pm-7pm, October 4 through December 20.
